You don’t understand how ecstatic I feel when I get brand new MadKids stuff. It’s like smelling freshly baked special brownies, so effin’ good. What’s even better is that we got quite a bundle to share with you, these kids ain’t playin’ so start listening. They played the end set at our major halloween event (THRILLER), and everyone went ballistic over the tracks they dropped. I remember talking to half of MadKids and asking when they would finally drop a full-mix to share… and before I knew it, I receive not one, but TWO mixes. Damn! Peep that:

Jonathan Boulet is the newest player in the Modular clubhouse, a precociously inspired 21 year old skate rat from Sydney’s Northwest. The video was directed by the cutting edge, creative masterminds from Special Problems, and proves to be successful in matching the sounds of the track “COmmunity Service Announcement”.

Weird how Digitalism decided to release a video for a track that’s been out for a long time now. However, we love it. Here’s the official music video for “When O’ When” by IS TROPICAL a London three piece band that’s been making some buzz around the music scene lately. When I first watched the video, nothing special appealed to me except for the potato bag mouth pieces, but as soon as the first minute passed, the song took an unexpected turn and I fell in love. Directed by Gareth Phillips, check out the video for their single, releasing in January:
I didn’t know Charlotte Gainsbourg had a music career?? She’s mostly known for her acting, including movies like Michel Gondry’s Science of Sleep, and AnthiChrist. She seems to have an album coming out very soon in France, and for this track she’s teamed up with Beck. The video is cool, she’s not that bad at all. Judge for yourself right here:
