One of the most anticipated albums this year, is Metric’s “Fantasies”. We’ve been waiting 4 years now, and they know it. Just released on their website was a sneak peak at what to expect from this upcoming release, and it is pretty damn good. “Help, I’m Alive” is up for grabs for you to enjoy till the album drops on April 14th:

Meet Chad Ashe. I went to school with this guy, and did a photo shoot for his Higher Skewl: Experimental Play (EP). I was looking through my collection and two tracks popped up and I decided to share them with you because they are worth listening to.
First track entitled “SpaceShip” is a real good smoke track, featuring other local rappers.
Second track entitled “Out-Rageous!” just hits the right spot. He uses a great mix of electro and trance beats to keep you hypnotized all the way through.

I’m not really sure what the plans are for Chad Ashe and his crew, but he seems to be recording quite a bit lately, and who knows? Maybe sometime soon we’ll get to buy his full length album, right?

My obsession with Lykke Li grows even more everyday, and it is quite obvious that I am a fan, not only because of her good looks, but because this chick gets to me, EVERY TIME! Her sweet melodic voice, her raw-ness, and her ability to make me feel comfy in my own chair is just astonishing. Sterogum just premiered her new video for her “Tonight” track. Directed by Christian Haag, filmed in Stockholm, this video is as simple as it gets. Check it out:

I recently spoke to a good friend of mine who surprised me when he told me he used to go to the same parties as Stephanie a.k.a Lady Gaga back in High School, and that she was a wild chick with a great voice…? YES! Apparently she used to be on her piano all the time and shit. Now I was lucky enough to put my hands on these recently LEAKED demos that she used to get a record deal with while she was in university, and WOW! She does have a great voice!
